Mhairi FitzPatrick

Mhairi has been successful in both self-funded start up and VC backed businesses. The drive to start her own business came from wanting to create the best product, to push for operational excellence and put her money where her mouth was.  Quite a big mouth some would say...All this learning and passion is the value she brings to the investee's business. Having fun along the way has been essential, especially when you are a Scotland football fan.

From Our First VC Partners

"We make decisions based on people. When we decided to invest in a new health club brand, thirtysevendegrees, we made that decision based on the quality of Mhairi and Andy.

They had a good track record in ARK Leisure Management and we backed their vision for thirtysevendegrees. That has proved to be a sound investment decision and will produce a good commercial return for our funds"

Testimonials

"I worked with Mhairi and Andy from 2008 until 2012 as Chair of their health club group.  They distinguished themselves through operational expertise and picking the right strategic path that allowed the business to report improving profit performances through the financial shock of 2008 onwards.  A great combination of skills makes them a formidable team."

"When I considered the choice of operator for the club at the heart of More London I wanted a product and service offering that matched what I was creating in the estate for blue chip companies. This meant quality, innovation and a long term view to ensure that the stature of the club grew with the prominence of the estate. That is why Andy and Mhairi beat all the major operators and opened their first commercial club with More London"
